In 2024, CEPress plans to continue to build on the energy that was generated at the “CE Futures” meetings in the summer of 2023. We are meeting with different of the people who were involved with the intention of establishing annual or semi-annual large group meetings for all members of the extended CEC community and of creating and hosting other forms of dialogue, both online and once again in person at our Harvard Square home.

One of our members just published a new monograph, Practicing Pedagogy through Progressive Pedagogies: A Philosophical Lens for Grounding Classroom Teaching and Research (2023), which features analysis and discussion of an entire class period conducted by a middle-school humanities teacher well versed in the practice of critical exploration.
